🍺 Mad River Brewing Company (Blue Lake): Pair a pint with a burger and enjoy one of Humboldt's longest-running craft breweries.

🍺 Humboldt Cider Company (Eureka): Not a brewery, but a fun option if Dad prefers cider over beer. Try a flight and find a new favorite.

Things I've loved about Humboldt lately 🤍

Maybe it's the longer evenings, maybe it's the wildflowers, or maybe it's just summer finally showing up—but this place has been feeling extra magical lately.

Lately I've been loving the empty beach walks, farmers market strawberries, redwood trails that stay cool even on warm days, and those evenings when the fog rolls in just as the sun starts to set.

One of my favorite things about living here is that the best moments usually aren't the big ones. They're the little things. A coffee from your favorite local shop. A drive through Ferndale. Watching the cows in the pasture on the way home. Finding yourself staying outside longer because the weather is finally perfect.

It's easy to forget how special Humboldt is when you see it every day.
