A little about us and the story behind Premier Kitchens…
In 1982, my dad, Al Campbell, started building kitchen cabinets on my grandfather’s porch. There wasn’t a big shop, a large crew, or a fancy showroom—just a commitment to hard work, quality craftsmanship, and giving customers a great product at a fair price.
From those humble beginnings, Dad built a successful custom cabinet business and a reputation for quality work.
Growing up, my brothers Jason and Josh and I spent our high school years working alongside Dad and learning the cabinet business firsthand. After graduation, we each went our separate ways—college, the military, and other careers—but eventually, the family business brought us back home.
In June 2006, all three of us returned. This time, we came back not just as employees, but as partners.
For the next 15 years, we had the privilege of working alongside Dad and continuing to learn from the man who started it all. In 2021, Dad officially retired, turning the day-to-day operation of the business over to the next generation.
Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to build and install high-end custom cabinetry throughout the Southeast, from Charleston, South Carolina, to Marco Island, Florida, and plenty of places in between.
A lot has changed since Dad built those first cabinets on my grandfather’s porch. Styles have changed. Technology has changed. The tools and equipment we use have changed.
But the foundation of our business hasn’t.
Build high-quality custom cabinetry. Treat people right. And provide exceptional craftsmanship at a competitive price.
Today, Jason, Josh, and I are proud to carry on what Dad started more than four decades ago as a second-generation, veteran-owned family business. 🇺🇸
We’re proud of where we came from, excited about where we’re going, and looking forward to sharing more of our work, our process, and the people behind Premier Kitchens.
