Looking to buy a new home this year? Here is another helpful tip for you!

Attorney review is the period of time directly after you have an inspection and appraisal conducted. Here you and your attorney will go over the details of the inspector's and appraiser's reports about the house. During this time, you will be allowed to renegotiate with the seller or cancel the deal entirely without losing any of your money in escrow.

A quick example:
Your inspector found out that the plumbing to the bathroom is rusted and leaking. Your attorney and real estate agent can then negotiate with the seller to have the plumbing fixed before closing, ask for credits that will help you to pay for the repairs, or allow you to cancel the deal entirely.

This is a huge financial decision and we are here to help you protect your financial interests!

Once you are under contract to buy a home, YOU are responsible for hiring an inspector and appraiser. If you wait too long, you could miss your window of opportunity to have these services done.

If you go through with purchasing the home without having these services done, you will be fully responsible for any repairs that you discover.

Don't sleep on inspections and apprasials! It could just save you thousands of dollars!
