From 1977 to 1991 Adamson worked for three local firms, first as agent then as managing broker, responsible for achieving sales goals, recruiting and training. From 1991 to 2016 Adamson was Founder, Managing Broker and Principal of Lakeshore Partners Real Estate Services (LSP), specializing in the sale of residential and investment properties. Adamson has been selected to represent condominium conversions and participated in marketing a thirty unit, new construction townhome development in the Northwestern University – Evanston Research Park. LSP consistently ranked highest in sales volume and number of units sold in the Evanston market. In 2016 Adamson decided that the Baird & Warner culture, along with its commitment to serving clients in innovative ways is a perfect match to his own values and goals. As Chairman of the North Shore Barrington Board of Realtors (NSBAR) Professional Standards Committee, John has chaired ethics and arbitration hearings. He also served on NSBAR’s Membership Committee and Board of Directors. Married to Ann and the father of three, Adamson an avid NU Wildcat fan, lives in Evanston. Julie Goncoe is Adamson’s right hand. She led the team at LSP as Office Manager in addition to being a licensed broker for over twenty years. She is an expert in the field.
