I JUST SOLD MY FIRST CHICAGO APARTMENT

Three college friends moved into Unit 2 after spending a year living at home post grad. It was our first real taste of independence in the city and a lot of learning moments.

This sale is proof that relationships matter. My former landlords (now past clients) are some of the kindest people I know, and we stayed in touch long after I moved out.

Five years later, I had the chance to help them move on from this investment property. There were a few bumps in the road courtesy of the city 😊, tenants, and contractors, but solving those problems is the part of the job I take the most pride in.

It’s a bittersweet closing. I haven’t lived here for years, but this place holds a lot of memories for me and my roommates.
From learning how much a good rug actually costs (if you know a 7th grader who loves rugs… tell them to start saving NOW) to great parties and getting through COVID lockdown together.
