There are places in a community that quietly become part of people’s stories.

A first zoo trip with a toddler.
A school field trip that sparks curiosity.
A summer afternoon watching kids run from one exhibit to the next.
A place where learning, conservation, and family memories all come together.

In May, Kaylee Walker had the opportunity to represent Team McClintock alongside the Southern Indiana Realtors Association and other local groups from across the region as they helped prepare Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden for the busy summer season ahead.

With 107 volunteers on site, the day was filled with hard work, plenty of laughs, and a few “wild” projects along the way — cleaning flower beds, spreading mulch, landscaping, painting, building picnic tables, creating brick retaining walls, and helping with projects throughout the zoo grounds. Kaylee spent much of the day spreading mulch and lending a hand wherever needed.

It was a wildly meaningful day of teamwork, service, and helping care for a place our community loves. At Team McClintock, we want to lead this industry not just in sales and listings, but by example. We are grateful for Kaylee and for every volunteer who helped make the day a success.
