West Central Association of REALTORS® (WCAR), in partnership with the REALTORS® Relief Foundation, is pleased to announce the availability of disaster relief assistance for residents impacted by the April 2026 floods within our jurisdiction (Lake, Mecosta, Newaygo, and Osceola Counties).
Following the State of Emergency declaration for Lake, Mecosta, Newaygo, and Osceola Counties, the REALTORS® Relief Foundation has awarded $70,000 in funding to support individuals and families directly affected by this disaster.
Qualified applicants residing within the designated State of Emergency zones (Lake, Mecosta, Newaygo, and Osceola Counties) may receive assistance for one month of rent or mortgage expenses, up to $1,000 per household, while funding remains available.

Applicants will be required to provide:
• Photo identification showing proof of residency
• Mortgage statement, lease agreement, hotel receipt, or renter statement
• Documentation showing flood-related damage, including photos, insurance documents, claims information, or repair estimates
