Several months ago the Edmonds WaterfontCenter asked me if I would be their presenting sponsor for their annual gala. It was an immediate yes. The Edmonds Waterfront Center is a place I’ve found so much joy interacting with their members who rely on the services they provide. It was an absolute blast. From the bidding wars on silent and live auction items (Ginny’s Girls Estate Services considers it a competitive sport) to the table side cocktails from Niles Peacock to the love and appreciation from the volunteers, it was a night I’ll cherish forever. I was joined by some of my strongest supporters- industry partners, best friends and my parents. We had record breaking attendance and raise the paddle numbers, amazing dinner, and a great time overall. 6 years ago I started interviewing brokerages as I was finishing up my courses and preparing for the exam. I met with 6 designated brokers before I met Rebecca after being connected by Taylor. It was just a few weeks ago my buyer got under contract on this great West Seattle condo. When all was said and done, I negotiated over $16,000 in credits to my buyer with only having to go $4,000 over list price. With that, he won’t have to pay the upcoming special assessment, 3 additional months of HOA dues are covered, he bought down his interest rate and brought less to closing. I can’t wait to see what he does with the space to make it his own!

A little over 6 years ago, my life got flipped upside down. COVID was running rampant and companies were cancelling business meetings. Hotels suffered and choices had to be made. I was tasked with furloughing my team, only to be furloughed shortly thereafter. It was then that I knew it was time for a career change. Real estate was always something in the back of my head and I lived vicariously through my ex partners real estate career. Going from a salaried position full of benefits to a contingency based commission career was terrifying but exhilarating. I hit the ground running and haven’t looked back. These last nearly 6 years have been the best years of my life. I couldn’t have done it without the people around me. My success is because of you- your trust, your support, your referrals. Thank you! Couldn’t think of a better way to start my Friday than to wake up to this feature being released. My success isn’t just my own.
