As you most likely have heard by now, there are changes coming to the way the real estate world does business this week. There’s confusion, misguided information, correct information, talk of saving money, or costing more money, and the big question, will you even need an agent anymore? As if home buying and selling is not overwhelming enough.
Without going into the pros/cons, just know this is all super new and definitely not the final way agents will do business. How long this will all take to shake out is still to be determined. Change is always hard to embrace, but ultimately it does work out for the better.
One key thing, however, is how the change is handled. This is where Wildflower Realty, an independent agency, has the flexibility to work with the new changes as they occur in the ever-changing landscape.
We are not tied to a big corporation who may be instilling practice changes that are reflected across the country and not specialized to our local area. We don’t have large overhead costs, transaction fees, desk fees etc. What we do have is a very favorable contractor agreement for our agents that allows them to have more freedom to create a relaxed business model that is cost affective to their clients and themselves. We have over 25 years combined real estate experience, repeat clients, and a little mountain charm office on Evergreen’s Mainstreet. We have and will continue to provide the best, honest and most personal service to our Buyers and Sellers as we navigate this new chapter.
