If I could go back, I’d tell my younger self—and anyone entering the field—to set clear, achievable goals and consistently track your progress. Mastering time management and developing strong communication skills are just as crucial as understanding contracts or keeping up with market trends. Effective marketing and technology can make a real difference, but nothing replaces building genuine client relationships and learning from every experience, even the challenging ones. Negotiation and adaptability aren’t just buzzwords; they’re the tools that shape a trusted advisor in our community-focused business.
