Applecross Country Club has released updated and improved HOA General & Architectural Rules for our community.
The Board has worked to clarify existing requirements, reorganize the rules, and provide additional guidance for homeowners. Many of the existing standards remain the same, but there are some notable updates homeowners should be aware of.
✅ What Changed?
• Village Town Decks: Updated approved colors/brands (p.7-8)
• Leases & Rentals: New/updated lease and rental agreement requirements (p 12)
• Pets: Addition to the pet rules (p. 13)
• Dumpsters & Porta-Potties: Updated requirements for both general HOA and Architectural Review rules (p15)
• Prohibited Items: Barns and wind chimes have been added to the prohibited list (p 24)
📌 A “What Changed” summary is included with the revised rules to make it easier for homeowners to see what has been updated.
The complete revised rules are available through the Applecross resident portal for future reference.

Please take a moment to review the Association’s parking guidelines and keep these reminders in mind:
🚗 Emergency access matters: Please do not park on both sides of a street if it restricts access for emergency vehicles.
🏠 Overnight parking: Only one vehicle per home may be parked overnight in overflow areas or on the roadway.
⏰ Overflow & street parking: These areas are intended for short-term parking and should not be used for long-term vehicle storage.
🚫 Keep access clear: Please do not park on sidewalks, common areas, in front of driveways, or anywhere that blocks roadways or access to homes.
🚐 Specialty vehicles: Commercial vehicles, trailers, boats, RVs, campers, buses, and similar vehicles are generally not permitted for overnight parking or storage unless specifically allowed by the governing documents.
🔧 Vehicle condition: Vehicles should be properly registered, inspected, operable, and free of fluid leaks.
🛑 Follow posted signs: Please remember to obey all stop signs, parking signs, speed limits, and other traffic controls throughout the community.
These guidelines help ensure that our roads remain accessible for residents, guests, service providers, and emergency responders.
