As a representative of my clients, it is the cornerstone of my business to make my buyers feel 100% confident with their new home purchase. My due diligence and duty to them entails that they are educated and making an informed decision, and more importantly not settling.
It’s especially true that in a market where buyers are paying 50k-100k over asking with multiple offers on any given home, the inclination to purchase something that may not be the right fit becomes a question. Pushing your client to make an offer on a home that may not suit them to satisfy yourself monetarily is not only selfish, it’s unethical. Make sure you are following up with the hard hitting questions so that your client feels at ease with their purchase, and will love their new home for years to come!
