📍Chena Hot Springs is located 1.5 hours outside Fairbanks, Alaska it’s best known for three things that people travel from all over the world to experience:

✅ The natural hot springs - The geothermal rock lake with a sandy bottom is the star of the show! It stays warm year round and is especially popular in winter because you can soak in steaming water while the air around you is below zero.

✅ The Aurora Ice Museum - This is the largest year round ice environment in the world. It was hand built by world champion ice sculptors and it has an ice bar where you can drink cocktails in carved ice glasses.

✅ Northern lights viewing - Chena Hot Springs is one of the top spots in Alaska for seeing the aurora because the skies are dark, the area is away from city lights, and the resort sits in a valley with great viewing angles.

It is also known for snowmobiling, dog mushing, the greenhouse tours, and the rustic Alaska experience, but the hot springs, aurora, and ice museum are what make it famous.
