Today marks the13th anniversary of my Mother’s death.
I miss her everyday, as she was a loving and caring mother, wise and funny and smart. She raised 4 children - three that had mental illness and addiction issues. She never stopped being there for all of us. And this was during the time that folks believed that she was flawed since she was divorced. She was protective as my father was abusive.
To see her strength was a lesson we can do what needs to be done.
I miss the love and support of my Mother so much.
Hope she is free and happy in heaven. She would have loved to soar like a hawk. I think she is still soaring…
