June is officially here and I made you something!

This month's digital magazine is packed full of summer fun. We're talking a fun playlist for June, a local bucket list, the listing that all PWC locals are talking about, a market update, and a full homeowner checklist to keep your summer running smoothly.

And since June is National Homeownership Month, I'm setting aside time to meet with 10 future homeowners this month for a Summer Strategy Session.

like...Cinco de Mayo, end of school events for parents (spirit week, field day, and teacher appreciation week), sports, events with friends, graduations, Mother's Day, Memorial Day...what am I forgetting?

and if that's not enough to juggle, the summer real estate market is also heating up ☀️☀️

But I’m also listening for other details that give me the full picture of what you're looking for in a house.

Like when you mention hosting friends and family for holidays, I start keeping my eye out for homes with a bigger dining space or a big island to gather around.

Or when you talk about how tiring it is to take your dog outside on a leash for potty breaks, I know to start looking for a backyard where he'll have enough room to run.

Because a house is more than just four walls, it's the place where your memories will be made.

One of the things I talk about with every seller is this:

Buyers don’t walk into your home and see it the way you do. They don't have the same emotional connection that you have to your home.

They're trying to picture themselves living there. They want to see if it flows well and feels right.

That’s why I always do a walkthrough before we list. I help you create a plan to bring that “model home” feeling to your space. It’s a small step that makes a really big difference when it comes to how long it takes for your home to sell and how much money you get out of it.

April was one for the books!

-Started the month with my birthday. Celebrating life is always the way. 🎂
-Our standing date continues to be a space I didn’t know I needed. Missed you ladies that couldn’t make it. The pasta was amazing.
-Then I met up with my real estate bestie in London for an amazing real estate conference conference where I gained new friends and toured an amazing city.
-A client closed on her rental 😊🗝️
-Pawfect Home held our first walking club event and beat the rain!
-Then I closed out the month with a photoshoot with my amazing business partner .register2016 I know y’all are tired of my old photos. 😂

Life is truly amazing. I’m living it my way, answering to no one but the Most High and be unapologetically me!

I hate cancelling plans, but sometimes it’s the nature of the beast (the real estate beast, that is).

I got a call the other day from a listing agent telling me they already had a few offers in hand. She asked if I wanted to move my buyers’ showing up a couple days so they would have a chance to submit an offer if they loved the home. I ended up having to cancel my afternoon plans to go show the home, which wasn’t ideal, but it meant my buyers were able to submit an offer on the home they were interested in.

Fortunately I was able to reschedule to a different time and it all worked out!
