Some memories from the blizzard of 2016. As we head into this next storm we ask for your patience as crews work in extremely cold weather to service the 2 miles of sidewalks in our community and our roadways.
IMPORTANT….Blade Runners asked us to communicate the following:
Work - Once we start our work Saturday night / Sunday, we will work until long after the last flake stops for our clients, an event like this given the extreme cold temps can take days to clear. I would not expect it to be care and ready to go Monday morning.
Communicate - we ask that only the Board / Manager communicate through snow central email. Calls are not likely to be returned until Management can get back to the offices. All communications should be sent to snow central
Work on Site - we ask a few things:
- Please do not stop the drivers to make special requests, express concerns, this stops services and delays everyone. Abusive behavior will cause use to leave your site and place you at the end of the list - have BOD / Manager email snow central
- First Passes -As the snow falls, our goal is to make passes, working to keep lanes open, and then come after the snow stops to give more openings and details work
- Second or Third Pass through - it is possible on an event like this, we will have to visit the site multiple times.
- When clearing your parking spots or private areas - do not throw this in the road, this can become so much the plow can not handle.
- Plows are great but they are limited,we can not move into specific areas, lift or move snow to special areas -plows push snow - this type of work is a special request and maybe a front loaded as needed.
