This past weekend, the 34th Annual Van Metre 5K Run was a tremendous success, held under perfect weather! With 434 participants, we raised over $186,000 in support of Children’s National Hospital.

Since its start in 1992, the Van Metre 5K has raised over $3.5M for Children's National. In 2022, an additional $1.8M gift was committed to improving neurological outcomes for pediatric cardiology patients. This funding supports groundbreaking work to develop new standards of care, helping hundreds of babies with CHD lead healthier lives with improved long-term neurological outcomes.

On Thursday, February 12, 2026, members from Van Metre attended the Annual Starlight Awards with the Greater Fayetteville Apartment Association! Rodney Glover was nominated for Maintenance Supervisor of the Year, and Jennifer Pittman was honored with a nomination for Regional Manager of the Year!
