Over the next two years, we will add nearly 1,600 multifamily units to our portfolio across several exciting new markets, following the 1,800 units added in the first quarter of this year alone.

We're proud to share that Van Metre team members recently helped deliver diapers as part of this year's Builders for Babies Diaper Drive — an annual community initiative organized by HomeAid chapters to collect diapers, wipes, and essential baby care items for families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

This drive brings together the home building industry, local volunteers, and non-profit organizations to support these families, and this year's effort collected more than 1.3 million diapers for babies and toddlers in our community.

On Tuesday, July 7th, several Van Metre team members volunteered their time to help deliver diapers to local nonprofits, including:

Yesterday, the Van Metre N.C. team had the privilege of volunteering at Victory Junction, a nonprofit camp founded by Kyle and Richard Petty in honor of Kyle's late son, Adam Petty. Adam dreamed of creating a fully accessible summer camp for children facing serious medical conditions and physical challenges, and his family brought that vision to life. Victory Junction provides year-round, medically safe, barrier-free camp experiences for children ages 6 to 16, completely free of charge.

The team spent the day rebuilding a cabin deck, leveling the outdoor swing area, and planting grass seed throughout the campus. They also had the opportunity to tour the expansive 80+ acre grounds and witness firsthand the incredible dedication of the Victory Junction staff and volunteers.

The work completed will directly enrich the summer camp experience for children, and this is just the beginning. The Van Metre N.C. team is already looking forward to their next volunteer day and the lasting impact they can make in the communities they serve.

More than just a round of golf.

On Monday, May 18th, a few of our Van Metre team members had the honor of teeing off at the 1st Annual Champions for Charity Golf Tournament at the beautiful River Creek Club in Leesburg, VA. Hosted by Capital Caring Health — the leading nonprofit provider of advanced illness care in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC — this event was about so much more than the greens.

Every swing supported compassionate hospice, palliative care, and bereavement services for thousands of patients, caregivers, and families across the Greater Washington Region — regardless of their ability to pay.

We are proud to be part of a community that shows up for those who need it most. Thank you to Capital Caring Health for hosting such a meaningful and memorable event.
