The Perfect 10 -- Our Inspector General (IG) department acts as the eyes and ears to ensure that each apartment community is consistently responsive in their service to customers. Van Metre strives to provide you a home deemed "A PERFECT 10!"

Why 5? -- We distributes surveys to residents to rate the community's management/maintenance from 1-5. This helps ensure customers receive the highest quality product & promotes overall satisfaction. Why not? Giving You 100% -- Our unique Community Captain program assigns a leasing consultant & maintenance technician to a section of the community to serve as customer service liaison. Residents build a relationship with their Community Captain & have a familiar face to turn to - from move in to move out & every day in between. This way we're always able to give you 100%! Renter Rewards -- In this program you can apply part of your lease payments to purchasing a new Van Metre Home! Eligible participants earn purchase credit equal to 100% of their monthly base rent, up to an amazing 3% of the total purchase price of a qualifying Van Metre Home. Home Away From Home -- We offer short- and variable-term leases for furnished & unfurnished residences perfect for anyone needing a temporary address, or companies wanting to provide extended-stay accommodations that go beyond a hotel. Yesterday, the Van Metre N.C. team had the privilege of volunteering at Victory Junction, a nonprofit camp founded by Kyle and Richard Petty in honor of Kyle's late son, Adam Petty. Adam dreamed of creating a fully accessible summer camp for children facing serious medical conditions and physical challenges, and his family brought that vision to life. Victory Junction provides year-round, medically safe, barrier-free camp experiences for children ages 6 to 16, completely free of charge.

The team spent the day rebuilding a cabin deck, leveling the outdoor swing area, and planting grass seed throughout the campus. They also had the opportunity to tour the expansive 80+ acre grounds and witness firsthand the incredible dedication of the Victory Junction staff and volunteers.

The work completed will directly enrich the summer camp experience for children, and this is just the beginning. The Van Metre N.C. team is already looking forward to their next volunteer day and the lasting impact they can make in the communities they serve.

Four wishes in and our hearts are still just as full. đź’›

We are so proud to share that Van Metre has completed our 4th Make-A-Wish America project. Together with our amazing vendor partners — Ruppert Landscaping, Solid Paving, and DGI Painting, Inc. — we transformed Jizelle's backyard so she can safely enjoy the outdoor space she loves with her family.

A new ramp, privacy fence, concrete patio, and fresh planters — all made possible through the generous donation of time, labor, and materials from people who truly care.

This past weekend, the 34th Annual Van Metre 5K Run was a tremendous success, held under perfect weather! With 434 participants, we raised over $186,000 in support of Children’s National Hospital.

Since its start in 1992, the Van Metre 5K has raised over $3.5M for Children's National. In 2022, an additional $1.8M gift was committed to improving neurological outcomes for pediatric cardiology patients. This funding supports groundbreaking work to develop new standards of care, helping hundreds of babies with CHD lead healthier lives with improved long-term neurological outcomes.
