He has owned and operated retail jewelry stores and an antiques shop. Before becoming a realtor, Irwin owned several investment properties and was a partner in a mortgage lending company. Amateur photography, collecting Bridgeport, CT memorabilia, and racket ball are just a few of his passions. He has been a realtor since 1998, and his office named him “Rookie of the Year” in 1999. Personable and effective are two words that describe Irwin. Some of Irwin’s Associations include membership in the National Association of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors, and Fairfield Board of Realtors. Irwin is the recipient of a Bronze Excellence in Sales Performance Award for 2014. Community service has been a part of Irwin’s life. He received a “CHAI” Award for community service from Congregation B’nai Torah in Trumbull. He is currently a board member of Jewish Family Services in Fairfield. Irwin also is a member of a Masonic Lodge.

Floating in the Dead Sea.
The sign says “The lowest place on Earth”.

On Friday we went to U of Mass at Amherst for the Nerd Summit. Our son was speaking. After his name and welcome, I had no idea of what he was talking about. His audience, though, listened and learned for almost an hour.

Yesterday I was in Trumbull to remove my key box from a house. Just down the road was Rails to Trails walking track. So, I walked about 3 1/2 miles.
Historically, there were train tracks here which started in Bridgeport and went to Danbury I think.

This has been the most unusual 18 months in all my 22 years as a realtor.
Lots of buyers are now settled in their new homes and beginning a new chapter in their lives.
Sellers realized lots more money than they expected when their houses sold…… and in just a few days on the market.
Usually, by November, the buying ‘season’ is over. Not so this year.
I made two showing appointments for tomorrow.
These houses just recently came on the market.
I was just informed, both have taken deposits.

I love being a realtor. It’s great helping families buy or sell. For a short time I’m part of their lives.
