This wonderful couple purchased their charming Acushnet home 26 years ago, enjoying life on 11 acres and making many memories along the way. 🏡❤️

In June, Sue & John called to tell me they were purchasing a condo and it was time to scale down. They needed to get their property on the market quickly — so we got right to work!

We met, reviewed the process, signed the paperwork, and I scheduled the photography and open house. Within two weeks, we secured a buyer.

Were there challenges along the way? Absolutely! But with focus, determination and quick action, we kept the goal in sight — and today we celebrate a new beginning! 🎊🔑

This seller was such a pleasure to work with and always made me smile. She got genuinely excited about every milestone along the way — so naturally, we had to celebrate them! ❤️

A successful smoke detector inspection called for a photo with the big Acushnet fire truck 🚒, and closing day called for the big SOLD key! 🔑

It was such a pleasure helping her through this chapter, and I’m so happy we could make the journey a little fun along the way.

A great offer comes in just days after listing… and the seller thinks, “I just listed it. Maybe I should wait for something higher.” 🏡

It’s understandable—but waiting doesn’t necessarily mean a better offer is coming.

According to Realtor.com Economic Research, homes with the best performance relative to their listing price went under contract within the first two weeks.

That’s why your initial pricing and presentation matter so much. When a home is prepared well, presented properly, and priced correctly from the start, a strong offer arriving quickly may simply mean the strategy worked.

As days on market add up, buyers can begin to wonder, “Why hasn’t it sold?” That can change both urgency and negotiating power.

Time is not always your friend when your goal is to sell for the best price the market will bear.

Sometimes the best offer isn’t the one you’re waiting for—it’s the one already in front of you. 🔑
