Three principles guide my personal and professional interactions - honesty, integrity, and service. I have a passion for customer care and client satisfaction. I joined Coldwell Banker Alliance in 2017. I quickly partnered with Corrie Kent to form Kent McCown Group. We successfully earned the title of the top producer in 2020 and 2021. We have experience in buying and selling farms, purchasing and
managing condos, townhomes, single-family homes, and buying and selling luxury homes. Before I discovered real estate, I was a school superintendent. In my previous career, I was the owner's representative for construction and renovation projects totaling 38 million dollars over five years. Real estate transactions come with their own fun set of conflicts and my experience in the school system has given me great resolve in dealing with these disputes. I received my BS in Education from the University of Georgia and my Masters in Business Education from The University of West Georgia. I earned my Doctorate in Education from Auburn University. My wife and I were thrilled to settle in Auburn, Alabama in 2016. We had spent the previous 7 years on a beautiful farm in Gordon County, Georgia. Moving to a college town provided us with many opportunities and residing in the Loveliest Village on the Plains had been a dream for many years. Auburn had always served as a kind of "home base". Our three children are now grown and pursuing their own dreams, but Auburn has always felt like home for the whole family. We love our backyard swimming pool and we love sharing it with close friends as well. I take great joy in finding ways to help others (including my business partners and children) be successful.
