Some very EXIT-LLENT advise from our CEO

Good Morning!

Were you ever told as a child "life's not fair"? In my family, with my father in particular, it was more like, "life's not fair, deal with it and suck it up". I'm not sure at what age I started hearing that, along with other key phrases that shaped my life but it certainly impacted my life. It almost set the stage for me to believe that it really isn't fair and you're not always going to get your way, or even win. But, does that mean that from an early age you simply accept the fact that others are better than you or others will take unfair advantage? I don't think so.

Like everything, you can interpret everything you are told, you read or learn along the way, in your own way and either for your benefit or detriment. Accepting a victim mentality is unhealthy, accepting responsibility to move on is key to growth in any area. Perception is reality and we must constantly remind ourselves that we are responsible for ourselves, no one else. Addictive or damaging behavior by others should not affect our personal ability to achieve and stand out as a victor.

Take this week to own your mistakes by admitting, accepting and moving forward in a healthy direction!
