Is the North Central WV market “correcting”? Let’s look at what the local numbers actually say. 👀🏡

In August, Fairmont had 25% more active listings than a year earlier. Morgantown listings spent a median 61 days on market, about 55% longer than last year. Bridgeport also had more inventory, while its median ASKING price was higher. In Clarksburg, homes sold for about 97% of asking price on average.

That is a mixed picture…not one region-wide price crash. A home’s price point, condition and exact location still change the conversation.
