18 years ago, you made me a mom, on Mothers Day, and my life has never been the same since.

Today, I look at you and see this incredible young woman who is smart, hardworking, caring, beautiful inside and out, and ready to take on the world. From academics, cheerleading, Fair Queen royalty, baseball team, FFA, and everything else that I am probably missing that you participate in and I can’t keep up with… you do everything with heart.

As you prepare to graduate high school in just a few short weeks, I hope you know how proud I am of you. Not just because of your accomplishments, but because of the person you are.

Watching you grow up has been the greatest privilege of my life. I know big things are ahead for you, and I hope you always chase your dreams while staying true to yourself. Ava and I will miss you when you move forward on your next adventure, but we will always be here for you when you need us.

Took me a week to post. We lost Manny on Valentine’s Day ❤️

My heart is broken. After 16 incredible years, we had to say goodbye to my best friend, my hiking buddy, my protector, and the sweetest soul—Manny. She was always looking out for her brother Biscuit, besties with Flora the kitty, and filled our lives with love, zoomies, and the best snuggles.
Coming home without her here just doesn’t feel right. I miss her so much already. Cancer took her from us, but it will never take the love and memories she gave.

Run free, sweet girl. You’ll always be in my heart. ❤️🐾
