I needed this today like whoa. Any fans here?? She is pretty powerful. If I’ve been absent on IG it’s because MY DREAMS ARE TAKING LONGER THAN I THOUGHT. But I’m not giving up. I’m staying the course. I’m showing up every dang day. Remember - relationships will take you far! People will help you get across the finish line when they care about you. More than (just) making money.

Happy New Year from me and my Colorado crew! We are looking forward to a year full of new opportunities and having fun doing what I do best - building s**z with limited skills! 😆 I always like to say I make something out of nothing, but that is literally what I do. I had a wee bit of money and I partnered with the right folks to build a property with incredible margins. Those margins snowballed into bigger things, and here I am. Does it get overwhelming? Yeah, sometimes. It takes discipline to keep those long-term goals in mind when your daily feels like you're getting nowhere. Remember, one thing every day towards your goals is a big win.

Grateful for the opportunity to try new things, push outside of my comfort zone, take risks and enjoy the rewards. The journey is not linear and there are many ups and downs, but I’ll never regret building that first cabin and learning so much about building, hosting, selling. We learned about who we are, what we want, and it gave us a whole new pathway to achieve it.

CHASING COZY
I snapped this pic during a weekend trip to recently and it just brought me all the cozy vibes. Now don’t get me wrong this was something like a $47MM ranch that used to belong to the owner of the Pistons but you get what I mean. 😂 I think that’s what I love about having a mountain getaway. The coziness of it all. While people may be craving bigger, better…I’m craving cozy nooks and small spaces with my favorite faces. I always try to be transparent so while many of you know we are building a new mountain property that is probably the biggest we have built yet, we have a plan for it. It’s going to be designed to encourage multigenerational stays. Think family reunions. While you need extra space for that, we do not want to skimp on the cozy factor just because there’s more square footage. That’s our goal for our next cabin. Do you chase those cozy vibes in your home or home away from home?

We have used siding on all of our properties, so of course we were going to use it again on our newest. When I was selecting materials to put on the mood board for the HOA, I stumbled across this collab between and . How amazing are these colors?? I always tend to go for dark, Scandinavian style exteriors, but this greeny-gray Slate Steps has me swooning. Definitely going for board and batten with some light colored stone as an accent and cedar posts. What do you guys think?? What’s your favorite color?
