I love sales...

Sales strategy in this business is incredibly important. A bad sales process is the difference between long terms success and failing after a couple of months...

I consider the pressure and feature benefit selling to be a thing of the past...

If your still caught up in that style of sales, your very likely missing deals.

Real sales is honest communication with another human being. What they think and feel matters. If they know you care about them, they will respond in a positive way and whether you "close" or not you will leave behind a good experience for all involved.

Marketing Matters...sort of...

The problem with marketing specifically in real estate is that people use it as a scapegoat...

It is always easier to blame marketing then to take responsibility for a bad sales process and slacking on follow up...

Now if your getting no leads that is different, but as long as your getting leads, the problem isn't "low quality leads" or "bad marketing."

People love to take the easy way out.
Much more difficult to fix your sales process and lead management, then to just say...

"Mailers, Texting, PPC etc..." don't' work anymore...

Networking or marketing? Or both?

I personally get deals from networking and from seller direct marketing. I like both!

I think lots of investors get in the business and think they have to go all in direct to seller deals...

If I had to start all over again I would go all in on Networking first! Get some cash, and then use that cash to start marketing.

If you take care of people and treat them well, networking can be a great source of deal flow!!!

Feel free to ask me how I generate 2-4 networking deals a month!

The journey can be hard...

But also beautiful. It is all about perspective. Wherever you are in your Real estate/business journey it is critical to enjoy the process!

If we don't then we get burned out, and potentially give up...Giving up is the only way we fail.

If you see the journey as the destination you stop feeling as though your never achieving anything. NO matter how many deals you do, or how much money you make, there is always more...So enjoy the journey and learn along the way!

There is no magical finish line, just TODAY.

Who Am I...

I have been investing in real estate full time for 8 years. I have grown from a solo investor to a business owner with a team of 6.

We continue to grow and add sales staff. We will be at 10 full time staff within the next 6 months.

We wholesale, buy and hold, and wholetail. I stopped flipping last year!

I love real estate but I love owning a real estate investment company a lot more!!!

I bought a house for a dollar...

I know it is hard to believe, but a few years ago I bought a house for 1 whole dollar! Sold it for 2500! Not the most lucrative deal, but proof that it is possible! Have done hundreds of deals since then! most for substantially more then a dollar!

I know lots of guys who have gotten paid to take houses! What is the cheapest house you have ever purchased?
