I just sold a property I owned with one of our agents Clint and his wife, 860 35th Ave E in Dickinson. We bought it a couple of years ago and it was a sale lease-back. When the tenant decided to move out abruptly, we pivoted and offered it for sale. We know the market, priced it accordingly, marketed it like we do and found the right buyer who needed it more than we did. It sounds simple, but it wasn't.

That's a different kind of real estate post than what you usually see in your feed. Most agents tell you what the market is doing. I'd rather show you. I put my own money in. I put my personal funds where my mouth is. I take the same risk I'm asking my clients to take. And when I tell you a deal pencils, it's because I've run that math on my own balance sheet first.

I've now built a 35 property investment portfolio that I'm extremely proud of. It's diversified, we have over 50 high quality tenants, long term leases and are hedged geographically & across multiple sectors. This is how you limit your risk while increasing your returns.
