So many restaurants, so little time.
That problem is about to become even worse — in a good way — during the 2nd Annual Greater Fall River Restaurant Week, May 3 to 10 in Greater Fall River and Taunton.
Diners can enjoy special menus at special prices during a week-long celebration of the culinary wealth of the SouthCoast.
“There are some really wonderful restaurants in this area. The media organizations are producing the event in partnership with the Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

This is a time of year when people are ready to get out and get back into the community.
Restaurant Week attracted thousands to local restaurants during its debut in 2012, drawn by the fixed price menus offered as part of the celebration.
We have expanded the footprint to include the Greater Taunton area, so there will be a lot more choices. Diners can learn more about eateries all over the SouthCoast.
“We will also collect food for the Citizens For Citizens Food Pantry, which has a presence in both Fall River and Taunton.”
There will be collection bins in the lobbies of all three news organizations for non-perishable food items.
Several of the restaurants will also have collection bins, the food donations are voluntary.
We hope that when people go out for a nice meal they will also think about those who maybe don’t have enough food to put on their own tables. Our new tagline for Restaurant Week reflects all of its elements: 'Great Restaurants. Great Food. Great Cause'."
Participating restaurants will offer a 2-course lunch for $7.99, a 3-course dinner for $19.99 and a 4-course dinner for $24.99 during Restaurant Week. Regular menu items will also be available.
