Big news for downtown Fall River: Jenna's Corner Lofts is on the way.

Coming to 138 Hartwell Street, Jenna's Corner Lofts will be the sixth property in The Downtown Lofts family, a division of Cordeiro Properties. The building will offer 49 market-rate apartments (29 one-bedrooms and 20 two-bedrooms), putting residents steps from downtown's restaurants, shops, and events.

We've watched downtown Fall River grow with every project, and we're excited to add one more. Follow along for updates as Jenna's Corner Lofts takes shape with 5A Design Studio LLC.

On Wednesday, September 16, One SouthCoast presents its Roger Valcourt Outstanding Citizen Award — the Chamber's highest honor — to Anthony F. Cordeiro at Venus de Milo in Swansea.

It started in Fall River in 1987, when Anthony opened an insurance agency at 24 years old. Nearly four decades later, that work has grown into an agency, a real estate and development portfolio invested in this city's downtown, and a charitable foundation funding nonprofits across Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island all built on a simple conviction: success carries a responsibility to give back to the community that made it possible.

This one's going to be a full room, and we want the people who've been part of the journey in it. Clients, tenants, grant partners, colleagues, neighbors—come celebrate with us.
