These are just some of the words we often hear buzzing around online surrounding our modern relationship with the food system. Not to mention, the disconnect between the average person and the food supply is huge.

For some, it's too overwhelming and too costly to simply abandon the contemporary food reality and start their own farmstead. For others, it's inconvenient. If we could all afford to quit our jobs and start a farm, we're pretty sure 90% of us would be doing that.

For the first time in several generations, middle class global citizens are faced with a food insecurity reality. In this reality, there is a demographic that is growing rapidly, as more and more are setting intentions of living within a model beyond what society norms have encouraged us to accept.

Priorities are shifting toward enabling greater connection to nature, living in greater balance with all energies of the ecosystems, providing not only food security but also food safety, and moving in a more cooperative and community mindset.
