What’s a Lease-Back (or some call it a Rent-Back)? Let’s break it down 👇

You just sold your home, but you’re not quite ready to move?
A lease-back lets the seller stay in the home after closing by paying rent to the buyer for an agreed-upon time.

✅ Gives sellers more time to find their next place
✅ Helps buyers secure the home without waiting
✅ Win-win when timing is tight on both sides

⛔️ Buyer needs to move in immediately
⛔️ Risk of extended occupancy or damage without solid terms

Real estate rules are changing in 2025, and military folks (like the rest of y'all) need to be ready.
Here’s what matters:
• No more buyer agent commissions listed on the MLS
• Buyers must sign written agreements before touring homes
• VA buyers can now pay agent commissions directly (under new temporary guidance)
