Quick PSA: Starting August 17th, you will need to sign the buyer agreement and formally hire your REALTOR ® BEFORE touring any homes. REALTORS ® will not be able to show you any homes without that agreement in place first.

This means that finding the right agent to work with has become just that much more important! Always ask for references and conduct interviews with different agents to find the right one for you.

Do we need to have the talk? 💬

Listen, a low interest rate is nice.

But if you don’t love your home, then it’s almost certainly not worth it! 🗣️

Luckily, you have many options at your fingertips such as:

- Buy a new home you love: There’s no reason to stay in a home you don’t love just because of the interest rate.

You can use the equity you’ve built in your current home as a large down payment on your next home, which will decrease your mortgage principal and help you access a lower interest rate. Then, when rates go down, you can refinance.

- Keep the rate and rent out your house: By turning your current home into a rental, you can keep your low rate and use the income from the rental to pay your mortgage. 💰
