Not too surprised…ITS HOUSE BUYING SEASON! Tho I’m sure we all wish the rates were much lower. Life says you gotta do what you gotta do.

Home sales increased in Northern Virginia in May over the same month in 2023 by 1.2%, according to the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors. That followed increases in February and April in a sign the market is continuing to return to pre-COVID activity levels.

If you are keeping with the constant changes in real estate lately then this is somewhat of a BIG one. Tho it may only be a temporary change to the already changing rules. It’s still a big step in making sure that the representing agent is fairly compensated.

Official says the department will temporarily allow VA buyers to directly compensate their agent.

Home sales in Northern Virginia rose 13.5% in April 2024, the biggest increase since at least November 2021, according to the monthly report from the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors. The report contains data on average sales price, new listings and more.

Don’t be too surprised…I’m good at a lot of things ☺️I’ve been a Virginia licensed Realtor since 2015 but I wasn’t always putting my talents to use. This year I plan for things to be a bit different.
