Katie Hogan fell in love with real estate while living in New York City, but she is a perfect example of the old saying: "you can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl." While working for one of the City's top real estate firms for seven years, Katie quickly acclimated to the fast paced market with a particular interest in relocations and transitions. A t

ransplant herself, she understood the multi-dimensional investments - above and beyond the financial - that anyone should consider when buying or selling a home. Her success in a go-go market is attributable to her commitment to listen and respond to her clients needs while exercising patience, knowledge and honesty throughout the process. "My commitment is to facilitate a smooth, successful transaction with the highest level of service," says Katie. Reflecting her deep roots in Maine, Katie is just as comfortable negotiating a chic upscale property as she is a centuries-old farmhouse. She knows the difference between mid-century modern and high-tech contemporary. And, she's a pro at matching a style-uncommitted buyer with the property that will suit them now . "Lives change and families grow, and those are the conversations that really create long-term value," she says. Katie returned to Maine seven years ago to settle down and raise a family away from the hustle and bustle. She is an active volunteer in the community and currently sits on the development committees for Make A Wish Foundation and Olympia Snowe Leadership Institute. Past positions and board seats include the Board of Directors at The Center for Grieving Children and the Development Committee, the Junior League of Portland, the Waynflete Parents Association, the Contemporaries at the Portland Museum of Art, The Portland Symphony Orchestra, Portland Youth Dance and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. She lives in Falmouth with her husband and two children. They enjoy boating, the Maine outdoors, dancing and traveling.
