Heather Douglas Mayer has helped over 275 families, selling over $125 Million in real estate as an Individual Agent. earned numerous distinctions. She earned the Circle of Excellence designation based on production at her previous brokerage yearly from 2017-2021. In 2020 Heather qualified for the National 2020 REAL Trends “The Thousand” & America’s Best Agent Ranking based on volume sold. Heather Mayer’s journey to Maine - and real estate - has been a winding road. Born and raised in Ohio, she received a Bachelor’s Degree from Case Western Reserve University and moved to Wisconsin to continue her education. After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Asian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Heather moved to California and joined AmeriCorps. After living in North Carolina and Colorado while working in the non-profit sector, she moved to Portland in 2006 and instantly felt at home. In 2011 Heather took a position at Schaeffer Douglas Title and was surprised and delighted to have found her passion in the real estate industry! She attributes her results to her tireless work ethic, responsiveness, and genuine caring about each client! When she’s not working you can find her walking the Presumpscot Falls Trails with her dogs, enjoying the incredible restaurants, and spending as much time on or near the water as the weather allows!

Some places leave you with beautiful photos. Greece left us with something even better. 🇬🇷🤍

If I had to sum up this incredible country in one word, it would be philoxenia—the Greek word for “friendship toward strangers”. It’s something we experienced everywhere we went, from warm conversations with locals to the genuine pride in sharing Greek history, culture & traditions with us.

Our final stop was Paros (with a side trip to Antiparos), where we relaxed at crystal-clear beaches and ended our last night the most Greek way possible—with incredible food, w**e, music, dancing, and napkin twirling!

Greece, thank you for the unforgettable memories, a renewed appreciation for cats and your extraordinary kindness!

I will definitely be back. 🇬🇷✨

Wow, Santorini exceeded my expectations! Stunning views, a Greek wedding show, boating, snorkeling, dancing the night away, incredible food and soo much more!

Greece bucket list trip- 🇬🇷🙌 first stop Athens! The heat is intense (100 degrees), but didn’t stop us from seeing the Parthenon, the Acropolis museum, eating, drinking and walking miles throughout the city.

Ahh Naples! My first visit but definitely not my last! Delicious meals, inventive

Pura vida take 2! Second time to Costa Rica, and had the best time with Skyler (we missed you Ayla!) Hiking in Rincon Nat’l park, hot springs and mud baths, swimming in the ocean every day, delicious ceviche, and the best part was meeting some fabulous people along the way.

2025 was one for the books 🏡
