In 2020 Heather qualified for the National 2020 REAL Trends “The Thousand” & America’s Best Agent Ranking based on volume sold. Heather Mayer’s journey to Maine - and real estate - has been a winding road. Born and raised in Ohio, she received a Bachelor’s Degree from Case Western Reserve University and moved to Wisconsin to continue her education. After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Asian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Heather moved to California and joined AmeriCorps. After living in North Carolina and Colorado while working in the non-profit sector, she moved to Portland in 2006 and instantly felt at home. In 2011 Heather took a position at Schaeffer Douglas Title and was surprised and delighted to have found her passion in the real estate industry! She attributes her results to her tireless work ethic, responsiveness, and genuine caring about each client! When she’s not working you can find her walking the Presumpscot Falls Trails with her dogs, enjoying the incredible restaurants, and spending as much time on or near the water as the weather allows!
