THE REPUBLICAN STATE CONVENTION IS OFFICIALLY IN THE THE HISTORY BOOKS!!!

For anyone that is interested I spent most of last week getting ready for the convention. I was elected to be a National Delegate!!!

I was also elected to be on the Platform Committee this year in Milwaukee which means I must get to Milwaukee one before the Republican National Convention.

I did not win the position of National Committeeman. The election is over and now it is time to get to work to make sure Donald J Trump Is elected to be our 47th President of the United States!!!

The convention was great! The enthusiasm is incredible! Now it is up to you all to do everything you can so we can win this years elections in our State and and to win as many National Seats as possible.

DAVID JONES FOR REPUBLICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEEMAN

Hello, I am David Jones. I am writing to you today to tell you that I have announced that I am running for the Maine Republican Party's National Committeeman seat.

I have lived with my wife Nancy in Falmouth for over 25 years. We raised our children here. We are proud to say we are from Maine, and so glad we made the choice to call Maine our home.

Some of you may know me because I have done political analysis on News/Talk WLOB, twice a week for over a decade. For those of you who do not know me, let me tell who I am and why I am running to be the National Committeeman.

I own F.O. Bailey, Maine's oldest incorporated business founded in 1819. I have been in the real estate and construction business for over 40 years.

The foundation of my company is building long term personal and professional relationships. That is what I will do as your National Committeeman.

I have followed Donald Trump since the 1980’s. We both made our professional careers in the same industry, there are a lot of similarities in his approach and mine to navigate through the many pitfalls government has erected to thwart businesses.

I always knew Trump would run for President. When he announced, in 2015 his intention to do so, I immediately supported his efforts in any way I knew possible. I publicly declared the day he came down the escalator that he would be the next President of the United States.

I attended the convention in Cleveland in 2016. I wanted to be a part of something so exciting, but to also make sure that Maine was represented in the process. At that convention I had the opportunity to meet and talk with almost every person that had anything to do with the Republican Party.

When I returned from Cleveland, I formed, with two friends, the first Super PAC in Maine history for a Presidential candidate called Making Maine Great Again.

Through this effort, we set up thousands of Trump signs, ran thousands of TV, Radio and social media commercials, supporting the Trump candidacy. I believe our effort helped in securing the electoral vote from Maine's second district.

We also came very close to flipping the State of Maine RED!!!

After Trump was elected, I broadcasted his inauguration, along with Ray & Jim Richardson, about 60 feet from the President. It was quite a privilege to be up close and personal for such a historic event.

Over time, I have continued to be a tried and true Trump supporter. Anyone that knows me could never have any doubt that I am a 100% Trump supporter for the man and his agenda.

I believe the experiences I have had and the connections I have made, will allow me to be an effective National Committeeman for Maine's Republican Party.

In the coming days, we will be calling each of you to discuss my candidacy and to answer any questions you may have.
