If you know me, you know I have a deep-seated love (okay, maybe an obsession? haha) with garage sales, a passion that started when my mom took me along as a little girl and continues as our mother-daughter tradition today. That’s why I can’t think of a better way to give back to our community than organizing a Scotch Plains-Fanwood townwide garage sale this fall.

It will take place on Saturday, 9/21, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. (Rain date 9/22.) Below is a Google Form for those who would like to participate and I have put the link to the Facebook event in my bio with the Google Form to sign up as well. I’ll compile a list and map of the participating homes, which will be available online and in paper copies at downtown shops. Feel free to share this with neighbors who may not have internet access; I can add them to the list as well. I’ll also be putting up signs around town.

To say that this was one of my most meaningful transactions is an understatement. I met my client about a year ago. She was looking for a rental and didn't have much of a budget.
