Pet of the Week!
Meet Baby Girl who is a beautiful brindle-and-white girl with a sweet personality and plenty of love to give.

Spending time with my people is one of my favorite things, whether we’re out and about or just hanging out together. I have a nice, moderate energy level, so I’m happy to head out for a walk or have some fun playing. I’m always up for a good game of tug! But once the fun is over, I’m more than ready to settle in for some quality cuddle time.

And guess what? I’m good with cats, too! Now all I need is my forever family.

If you’re looking for a sweet companion who can be your walking buddy, tug-of-war opponent, and cuddle partner, I just might be your girl.

Pet of the Week!
Meet Marcie, this green eyed beauty.
From the very first moment in my foster home, I took the crown as the most lovey-dovey cat in the house. When humans walk into my bedroom, I run over to them and rub all over their legs. I absolutely love being around people… the people who live in my house and the friends that come to visit them. When my foster mom watches TV, I lay right next to her legs. When my foster dad has a bowl of ice cream, I lay on his chest, nuzzling my face against his scratchy beard. When their friends come to visit, I am instantly ready to introduce myself and to show them some of my famous affection.

I also love to play! My top three toys are feather wands that I can pounce on, laser pointers that I can chase, and glitter pom pom balls that my foster parents throw for me to hunt!

If you’re hoping to never watch a TV show alone again, to always be greeted with enthusiasm upon returning home, and to share your life with, I might be the cat (dare I say, the purr-fect cat?) for you.

Some houses take 2 showings, 1 offer, no inspection and less than a week. Then there are ones that take 20-30 showings, 40 days and one solid offer with inspection. The noise of national media, is just that, Noise. The housing market has ebbed and flowed since I started in 2008. That doesn't mean its an easy process for all. The reason for buying and selling is different for all and requires care. Let me know if you're ever curious about your house value or who to talk to about what you can afford.(I know some people 😉)

Check out this map of district 44 to see how certain improvements you've been putting off could be a benefit right now.

If you live in District 44 and are thinking about making improvements to your home, I want to make sure you know about Fargo’s Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, or NRI. The program offers low-interest loans for qualifying home improvement projects in some of Fargo’s older neighborhoods.

Projects can include things like roofing, siding, windows, foundation work, major remodeling, or replacing systems like a furnace, electrical, or plumbing. There are eligibility requirements for the property, but if you have a project in mind, it is worth checking to see whether your home qualifies.

Applications for the 2026 program are open through October 31. I’ll put the City of Fargo’s NRI page in the comments, where you can learn more about the program, check the requirements, and find the application.
