Tanner is a Concordia College graduate with a degree in Finance and has spent the past several years working in commercial real estate, with experience in management, development, underwriting, and acquisitions and dispositions. He also served six years in the Army National Guard and owns and manages two rental properties. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, skiing, golfing, working on cars, and riding his motorcycle. He’s also an avid Green Bay Packers fan and achieved a personal milestone by completing his first full marathon in 2025.

Headline: Dakota REIT expands presence in the Omaha market with acquisition of RD Industries Property in the NW Industrial Submarket of Omaha, Nebraska

Dakota REIT announces the acquisition of a STNL (Single Tenant Net Lease) with RD Industries as the tenant. The property in Omaha, Nebraska is an 86,838 SF industrial facility. “Industrial is one of Dakota REIT’s key targeted asset classes for growth looking to 2027 and beyond, additionally this acquisition allows us to further diversify our tenant mix in the Omaha market” said Dakota REIT CEO and President Matt Pedersen

“We are pleased to increase our investment in industrial properties in Omaha, Nebraska. Dakota REIT will continue to look for future opportunities to expand this product type within our key markets” shares Matt Pedersen. This acquisition was a strategic target for Dakota REIT working with Jeff Wyatt of Colliers International Omaha and Goldenrod Capital Partners, the Seller. “This property was purchased off market and with a long-term lease in place. We are pleased with the property, location, and tenant. This is a solid acquisition intended as a long-term hold for Dakota REIT “.” said Peter Tanis, Chief Investment Officer of Dakota REIT.
