Fargo revitalization boundaries…if you live in this area and are thinking of making some home improvements, check this out for more info.

If you live in District 44 and are thinking about making improvements to your home, I want to make sure you know about Fargo’s Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, or NRI. The program offers low-interest loans for qualifying home improvement projects in some of Fargo’s older neighborhoods.

Projects can include things like roofing, siding, windows, foundation work, major remodeling, or replacing systems like a furnace, electrical, or plumbing. There are eligibility requirements for the property, but if you have a project in mind, it is worth checking to see whether your home qualifies.

Applications for the 2026 program are open through October 31. I’ll put the City of Fargo’s NRI page in the comments, where you can learn more about the program, check the requirements, and find the application.

FYI to residents in this development!

🚧 ALERT:

The City of West Fargo will be conducting Asphalt Rejuvenation in the Westwynd Neighborhood Wednesday, Sept. 16 and Thursday, Sept. 17. During this work, no street parking will be allowed beginning the morning of Sept. 16.

Drivers should avoid driving over wet asphalt for approximately 30 minutes following application. Please obey crew instructions and signage to drive around impacted areas.

A layer of rock will be placed over the rejuvenator as it dries and swept up after a period of time. All sweeping is expected to be completed by Saturday, Sept. 19.
