This July at Cortland means celebrating our country's 250th anniversary, pool parties, ice cream socials, on-site fitness classes, and of course, our residents and on-site teams! 🎆🏖️

Freedom looks different for everyone — but for many, it starts with having a place to truly call home.

This Fourth of July, we’re celebrating not just independence, but the bold choice to live life on your own terms. At Cortland Waters Edge, that means waking up to resort-style pools, a vibrant resident clubhouse, and a community designed around the way you want to live.

From cozy one-bedroom retreats to spacious three-bedroom residences, Cortland Waters Edge offers more than an apartment. It offers a foundation — a place where mornings have purpose, evenings feel easy, and weekends reward you.

As fireworks light up the sky tonight, we honor the spirit of independence and the courage it takes to build something meaningful, starting with where you live. ✨

What does independence mean to you this year?

We are looking for someone who does not just fill a role, but truly owns it. 🌟

At Cortland, we believe that great communities are built by great people. Our Leasing & Sales Consultants are the first chapter in every resident's story here, the welcoming presence, the trusted guide, and the confident voice that turns a prospect into a neighbor.

We are hiring a Leasing & Sales Consultant who brings genuine passion for people, a sharp eye for connection, and the drive to deliver an exceptional experience from the very first conversation. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate with clarity and warmth, and take pride in the work you do, this opportunity was built for you.

What you bring matters. Your authenticity. Your ambition. Your ability to make someone feel at home before they even sign a lease.

Ready to be part of something meaningful? Apply today at https://cortland.com/careers/ and bring your talent to a team that values it. 💼

What qualities do you believe make someone truly exceptional in a leasing and sales role?

Today, we recognize the dads who make time, make memories, and make a difference.
Happy Father’s Day 👔

There’s no better time to celebrate the people who make life sweeter — and maybe even bring them home to our community.

If you love living here, share the experience with your best friend. When they move in, you’ll earn our resident referral bonus as a thank‑you for helping our community grow.*

Tag your bestie, spread the love, and contact the leasing office for more information.

It takes a lot of hard work to keep our communities beautiful and running smoothly year-round, and we couldn't do it without our service teams!

05/11/2026

Our teams around the country wrapped up another successful last week! We are so proud of our associates coming together to help out their local communities by providing meals to people experiencing food insecurity and cleaning up spaces that are built to provide assistance to those in need.

This is an opportunity for us to reflect not only on the theme, “A Century of Black History Commemorations,” but also on how Cortland is one of countless organizations whose members are connected to the history this month celebrates.

This month, we’re highlighting six of our associates who shared their relation to a Black history maker — from prolific and award‑winning musicians Billy Strayhorn and Oscar Sheppard, to historic baseball player Dennis “Bose” Biddler, to Dr. Edwin A. Thompson, founder of Atlanta Metropolitan State College, and to William Still, an abolitionist credited as the father and primary architect of the Underground Railroad.

Valentine's Day at Cortland 💘

02/09/2026

There's nothing better than starting off the year with a sense of calm and clarity. This inspired our winter art installation at our Community Support Center in Atlanta. It serves as a visual deep-breath, allowing viewers to take some time and observe the natural beauty of art and slow down.

We currently have the work of artist Sensei Elliston Roshi on display with the help of KAI LIN ART. Elliston, who is currently an Abbot of the Atlanta Soto Zen Center, explores the Taoist and Zen ideals of harmony in action. By surrendering to the medium, he allows "inevitable accidents" to reveal the beauty of the natural laws all around us.

The usage of sumi ink, which is traditional in the use of Zen artistry, works together with the water-based pigments and how it presents itself on different materials like paper, plastic, and painted board.

Kai Lin's art serves as a reminder to take a moment, and make time for peace away from rush of the world.
