New Construction Inspection – Washington Township, NJ

This brand-new home had two major issues that should have been caught before closing:

❌ Bathroom exhaust fans were not vented to the exterior❌ Plumbing vent pipes were not properly connected

Bathroom vents dumping into attics can lead to moisture buildup, mold growth, and damaged insulation. Improperly connected plumbing vents can affect drainage performance and allow sewer gases into the home.

New construction doesn’t always mean defect-free. A professional home inspection can uncover issues before they become expensive problems.

Spray paint and caulk used over visible mold-like staining in shower corners instead of properly removing and repairing the issue. Moisture intrusion and poor ventilation can lead to recurring microbial growth behind tile and wall surfaces.

Clogged AC condenser coils can choke off airflow, reduce efficiency, drive up electric bills, and shorten the life of the system.

This unit in Haddonfield, NJ was heavily blocked by vegetation and debris around the condenser. These systems need proper clearance and regular maintenance to operate correctly.

If your AC seems weak during summer, this could be part of the problem.

Clark, NJ — This beam looked solid until I probed it. Severe hidden termite damage was discovered during this home inspection. Damage like this can stay hidden for years until the wood is physically probed and starts falling apart. This is exactly why thorough inspections matter.
