I had the privilege today to help the community service committee with the San Juan County Board of Realtors and the NM Ramp Project build another ramp for an elderly, wheelchair bound lady. So far this is the third ramp to date. This is such a rewarding opportunity to give back to our community. Her daughter and her were so happy and grateful to have something to make their lives easier. Thank you to all those that helped Phil Chavez, Kristin Williams - EXIT Realty Home & Ranch, Bryan Crawford and new broker Jenny. A huge shout out to Stephanie Crawford for organizing this project and two gentlemen with NM Ramps that kept us all in line.

I would like to take a moment to re-introduce myself since I have several new followers on my page.
I am a wife of 34 years, mom of two kids and a grandma to one granddaughter and three grandsons. I am starting my seventh year as a licensed REALTOR®️.
In addition, I serve on the SJCBR as treasurer, budget committee chair person, 100 People Who Care, Farmington Chamber Of Commerce redcoats ambassador, member of Bloomfield chamber commerce, Bloomfield Project and a longtime member of Bloomfield Assembly of God.
Outside of real estate I love spending time with my husband and family. My husband and I have a hobby farm where we raise our own beef and eggs. We have four dogs, 24 chickens and a duck, three horses, four cows and a spoiled rotten cat. We love riding our horses, riding the side-by-side and camping.

Small Business Spotlight March 2025
Spring is in the air! It’s that time of year to do clean up around the house and start those DIY projects. I’d like to introduce you to someone that can help with hauling junk or picking up and delivering materials. Meet Michael Heckman, owner/operator of Heckman Logistics LLC. Michael was referred to me to do some property clean up for some buyer clients that I had last spring. He and co-owner, Cierra Manus, met me at the property. From the beginning I was so impressed with him. He was kind and courteous as he walked me through what he would do to clean up the property and haul a huge amount of debris away. He completed the job within two days and was very reasonably priced. Here is a little more about Michael and Heckman Logistics, LLC.

History of business

Michael moved to the Four Corners area about three years ago from Colorado where he was working as a fish biologist. He went to work in the oilfield and immediately saw a need for trash and junk removal from oilfield sites. About a year and half ago, he decided to step out on his own with his partner / girlfriend Cierra Manus. Michael does the heavy lifting, while Cierra takes care of the administration part of the business. Together they form Heckman Logistics LLC and make a great team!
Business philosophy
Michael’s goal is to provide exceptional customer service. You can expect dependable service, transparent communication and reasonable pricing along with scheduling flexibility. I have had him do some work for me on a couple of properties and he truly follows through on what he believes. He went above and beyond my expectations.

Community involvement

Michael and Cierra are starting to get involved more within the community and would like to do more as time goes on. They recently became members of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce.

Outside of work

In their spare time, Michael and Cierra love to go camping, fishing, hunting, and take their dogs to the dog park. They also like to shop local and walk the businesses downtown while keeping in touch with everything in town. At home they enjoy binging some TV series and watching baseball.
