In my first post, I had just listed a property for lease. It's on 26 sites, my web page and here on my Facebook. You are online looking and there is an amazing deal. The house/apartment is just what you were looking for! BUT it is way below market value...this is the first red flag. The ad says text and set up an appointment. Not a total red flag, maybe the owner/manager starts with a text. Look at their profile and other listings. There are 100s of them! You're DONE...IT'S A SCAM. However, the house may really be listed for rent legitimately. Do a search for the address this may lead you to the real listing. Post 3 available soon.

HOW TO SPOT A RENTAL SCAM 101 🔎🫆
This title is meant to be funny... but being scammed isn't. When I have a property for lease, I post it on my website. After I post it to my website, it then is reposted by the management software I use to 26 other sites. Ok...done ✅️ my property information is out there and now I wait for a tenant to find my post. Finding a property for rent has never been easier. But everyday, tens of thousands of posts like mine are copied off Zillow, Homes.com, Facebook, Realtor.com and any other sites that helps people find what they're looking for. But these sites also become all that scanmers need to advertise "their" property for lease. So how do you spot the fake posts. There are tell tale signs that most all of the fake ads have. Follow me over the next week and I'll give you some things to look for in the fake posts.

HAIL DAMAGE ON YOUR 🚘 OR 🏠
Before you hire someone to fix it, ask them IF THEY HAVE LIABILITY INSURANCE! If they don't, do not use them. If they cause additional damage to your vehicle or home, you'll be paying to fix the problems they caused. There ARE people doing business in town without INSURANCE
