Spent the day helping with final touch-ups and blue tape alongside Travis as we wrap up this beautiful home renovation. One of the things I love most about real estate is being able to stay involved beyond the transaction—whether that’s helping coordinate a project, connecting clients with trusted resources, or rolling up my sleeves when needed.

We’ve met with three clients this past week to start planning their future homes, and it’s always exciting to be part of that journey.

Successful new construction starts with a solid plan, realistic expectations, and clear communication from day one.

From lenders, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to permitting, inspections, and coordinating with the city, there are a lot of moving parts involved in building a home. It’s been nonstop over here—lots of moving parts behind the scenes, and social media’s been on the back burner for a bit 😅

After a long journey searching for the perfect home—resale, getting serious about new construction, and pivoting back—we landed on a home we first saw 7 months ago… and it just felt right.

We’ve made major progress on my spec home and even had the opportunity to bring my sister in as an investor, which has been really special to experience together. So grateful for the chance to build something like this side by side with our dad!

This project has taken close to a year since I’ve purchased the land and have been investing as I go, but fun fact: KPQ Construction can typically complete a home in about 3 months when it’s full speed ahead. That kind of turnaround comes from meticulous project management and strong team coordination.

Today I’m hosting my first educational workshop + hangout for teens in our community. The goal is simple: provide practical, real-life education that helps our kids feel confident about their future, and make it fun while we’re at it.
