☕🌊 Exploring New Bern Ep. 2

“The Breakfast Spot Everyone Talks About”

Today we checked out Baker’s Kitchen in historic downtown New Bern 👀🍳

From the brick streets and beautiful historic architecture… to the waterfront views and small-town atmosphere… downtown New Bern really got a vibe of its own.

The food at Baker’s Kitchen definitely lived up to the hype 😂 Pancakes, biscuits, coffee, breakfast plates stacked up everywhere… and a HUGE shoutout to Sheika for the amazing service 🙌🏽 definitely made the experience even better.

After breakfast we walked through downtown, explored the waterfront near Union Point Park, and stopped by the New Bern Visitor Center.

And honestly… if you’re visiting New Bern, relocating here, or just looking for things to do around town, I definitely recommend checking out the Visitor Center. They got information on local attractions, restaurants, events, history, tours, and hidden gems all around the area.

I keep hearing people say New Bern is boring… but honestly the more I explore it, the more I disagree 😂

This city has local restaurants, coffee shops, waterfront dining, history, nightlife, hidden gems, beautiful neighborhoods, parks, events, and way more personality than people give it credit for 🌊🏡

And trust me… we just getting started with this Exploring New Bern series 👀

POV: It starts raining in New Bern and somehow you accidentally have one of the best days in the city 🌧️😂

Everybody says there’s “nothing to do” here… meanwhile we went treasure hunting, threw axes, and visited the birthplace of Pepsi all in one rainy afternoon.

New Bern really got a vibe when you stop sitting in the house 👀

🌊 Exploring New Bern Ep. 1 🏡

Historic streets… waterfront views… hidden gems… local coffee shops… and somehow people STILL sleep on New Bern 👀

For Episode 1, I took y’all through downtown New Bern to check out the scenery, the bear statues 🐻, beautiful churches, historic architecture, waterfront views at Union Point Park, and stopped by Bella’s Cafe for a latte ☕🌊

This episode was just a general feel of the city… but we got a lot more spots to explore 👀
