¿Cuándo es el momento adecuado para comprar una casa?
La respuesta no es igual para todos.
Si estás financieramente preparado/a — tienes ingresos estables, has planificado para el pronto pago y los costos de cierre, tu pago mensual cabe cómodamente dentro de tu presupuesto y estás listo/a para las responsabilidades de ser propietario — entonces no necesariamente tienes que esperar a que el mercado sea “perfecto.”
Las tasas, los precios y el inventario siempre pueden cambiar. Lo importante es encontrar una oportunidad que tenga sentido para ti y tu situación.
Pero si todavía no estás en una buena posición financiera, también está bien esperar.
Comprar una casa no debería dejarte viviendo al límite, agotando tus ahorros o teniendo dificultades para cubrir tus gastos mensuales. A veces, la mejor decisión es tomarte un poco más de tiempo para ahorrar, mejorar tu crédito, reducir deudas y fortalecer tus finanzas.

The answer isn’t the same for everyone.
If you’re financially ready — you have stable income, you’ve planned for your down payment and closing costs, your monthly payment fits comfortably into your budget, and you’re prepared for the responsibilities of homeownership — you may not need to wait for the “perfect” market.
Rates, prices, and inventory will always change. What matters is finding an opportunity that makes sense for you and your situation.
But if you’re not financially ready, it’s okay to wait.
Buying a home shouldn’t leave you stretched too thin, drain your savings, or make it difficult to cover your monthly expenses. Sometimes the right move is taking more time to save, improve your credit, pay down debt, and strengthen your finances.
