Her experience guiding first time buyers or sellers, luxury clients, seniors and heirs maximize their opportunities in any real estate market. As an army brat and dual citizen, Wendy spent her childhood living in several states and countries; she continued this into adulthood as she explored her career options as an adult. Having lived and worked in three continents, five countries, seven states, and a sailboat, Wendy has built upon her personal and professional experiences. She uses all of this and the fortune of being a second generation Realtor of Team Harris Real Estate (est. 1992), in being a valuable resource for clients. Her broad knowledge and global background give her clients an advantage in that Wendy never believes things must just be done one way. The best way to do something is the way that produces the best results for her clients and team, while withstanding the strong ethical and professional standards she demands. As an involved member of the community, Wendy focuses on building generational wealth through real estate. She is an avid supporter of Habitat for Humanity, having served as board President twice, and worked to expand services into surrounding counties. She is also very engaged in the industry side of real estate, working on legislation and policies that promote healthy strong communities while protecting private property rights and values. She served as the 2022 President for the North Carolina Association of Realtors, representing more than 56,000 members and the North Carolina Homeowners Alliance which is their grassroots alliance for advocacy. Wendy’s volunteering is only possible through the loyalty and support of her clients and her team members. From being recognized as Realtor of the Year, Realtor Champion and as a Regional Service Award Recipient, her clients, community and team members are always in the front of her mind, thinking how she can best support and protect them. She enjoys reviewing options that current market conditions offer, as well as weighing the pros and cons of those options. The knowledge that clients are confident in their decisions is the best feeling for Wendy, especially when her clients’ goals are also met or exceeded.
