Staging the living room was most important for buyers (37%), followed by the primary bedroom (34%) and kitchen (23%). Among sellers, the most commonly staged rooms were the living room (91%), primary bedroom (83%), dining room (69%) and kitchen (68%).

Russellville Mayor Fred Teague says now is the time for residents to become more familiar with an upcoming ballot issue in the May primary. The city will be seeking a continuation of a 1-cent sales tax, that will sunset at the end of the year. This tax, approved several years ago; continues to benefit not only Russellville citizens; but, individuals who work in the city, visit Russellville and enjoy and depend on their community improvements, emergency services, parks and recreation and more.

The Russellville Water System will begin flushing water mains on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 7:00 a.m. Flushing will continue daily until completed. The flushing will take approximately six (6) days to complete. The flushing will take place from 7:00 a.m. until approximately 7:00 p.m. Laundering during this time should be with care, as there may be some discoloration of water during flushing. We regret any inconvenience that may be caused during the flushing program. City Corporation would like to thank our customers for your patience during our system wide flushing program. SATURDAY, APR 5: From Round Rock Road to “O” Street, to include all areas in and around Arkansas Tech University, extending south along El Paso to W 14th Street.
SUNDAY, APR 6: Generally, east of El Paso to Weir Road between “O” and “B” Street. Also, the downtown district from Arkansas Avenue to El Paso between W “C” Street and W 11th.
MONDAY, APR 7: South Arkansas to Vancouver, generally south of W Parkway to W 16th Street.
TUESDAY, APR 8: South Arkansas to Elmira, excluding the Country Acre Subdivision, between “C” Street and Highway 247.
