I grew up in beautiful Fayetteville when Northwest Arkansas was still a collection of small hometown communities. Back then, Fayetteville had around 9,000 people, and towns like Rogers and Bentonville were even smaller. Each town had its own identity, and people rarely traveled between them because there simply wasn’t much there yet.
As home to the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville became the hub for many of the business travelers coming into the area. Vendors flying in to meet with growing companies like Walmart
, Tyson Foods
, and J.B. Hunt Transport Services
would land in Fayetteville before heading north to Bentonville, Springdale, and Rogers.
As those companies grew, so did Northwest Arkansas. Our communities expanded with new schools, businesses, restaurants, services, and neighborhoods. Most importantly, we needed HOMES.
For the past 29 years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of that growth as a realtor, helping families and individuals buy and sell homes throughout Northwest Arkansas. One of the greatest joys of my career has been welcoming so many wonderful people to this area that I’ve always been proud to call home.
Northwest Arkansas has changed tremendously over the years, but it still holds onto the sense of community that made it special when I was growing up here.
